Bridgeport J head Repair / Rebuild

We can  rebuild your Bridgeport J head, servicing all bushings, keys, belts, bearings, and brakes as well as repairing or replacing other necessary components to get all functions of the head in good working order.

Cost for complete J-head rebuild + replacing motor bearings is $850.00 plus the cost of parts. 

Our head rebuilds include complete disassembly of the head, cleaning, and inspection of all parts.  All rebuilds include replacement of 7 head bearings + 2 motor bearings, 4 bushings, 2 keys, and 2 belts, 2 brake springs.  Any other parts are replaced as needed.

If your milling machines are in good shape and you would like just a ball screw conversion,  this can be done in your shop, with only a few hours of down time.
